B8 5100 shock absorbers utilize a unique, velocity sensitive, digressive piston which reacts to changing road conditions. Torsion Key Lift

Excludes Z55 Autoride Suspension Package

If equipped with ZW7 Premium Smooth Ride Nivomat Suspension,
you must replace the rear coil spring when replacing the shock
absorber. For the Tahoe/Yukon, use spring part #199021. For the
1500 Surburban/1500 Yukon XL, use spring part #199020. These
replacement springs will maintain stock ride height.
